{cf-simple_mainimage_alt}

Gozo Shioda Sensei provided our Aikido school with the name of Seidokan. This name translates as "SEI" means pure or correct, "DO" means way, and "KAN" means house. Sei-do-kan means a place for studying in the correct or pure way.

Within Japanese budo, this term means more than simply studying correct Aikido techniques. Training in Aikido involves working with the physical, mental, spiritual and social aspects of human existence.

It is the hope of the instructors at the Seidokan that training in Aikido will be fun, promote fitness and encourage a healthy outlook on life.
